Letter From Our President

Welcome to the Beta Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi!

What does it mean to “Belong in Business”? At Alpha Kappa Psi, we believe the answer is simple: curiosity and a genuine desire to learn. As brothers, we strive to embody the values of Brotherhood, Knowledge, Integrity, Service, and Unity—not only in principle but through our actions. These values guide both our community and our professional development, encouraging us to grow while supporting one another along the way. We are committed to ensuring that every brother has access to the mentorship, resources, and network needed to succeed—not only in the early stages of their careers, but as lifelong members of the AKPsi community. Our alumni network, spanning a wide range of industries and disciplines, remains a powerful source of support long after graduation.

I joined AKPsi in the fall of my first year, and it has been one of the most meaningful parts of my college experience. Over the past two years, I have built lasting friendships, found incredible mentors, and grown tremendously both personally and professionally. AKPsi gave me a strong introduction to the world of business, exposing me to different areas of finance through conversations with brothers working across industries. More importantly, it showed me the value of community and meaningful connections. I truly cannot imagine my time at UChicago without my AKPsi family. From meeting some of my closest friends to always having a place that feels like home on campus, the brotherhood is something truly special.

Rush can feel intimidating, but I promise that AKPsi is a place where you can thrive. Whether you’re hoping to step outside your comfort zone, explore new professional interests, or find a supportive and tight-knit community, there is a place for you here.
