Becoming a Leader outlined how students of all backgrounds can develop the necessary leadership and soft skills to thrive in settings ranging from interviews to entering the workplace.

This event featured two incredible speakers with extensive experience as leaders in business -- Professors Alyssa Rapp and Linda Ginzel from the Booth School of Business. Professor Rapp currently serves as the Adjunct Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at Booth and CEO of Healthwell Acquisition Corporation I. Professor Ginzel is the author of the bestselling book Choosing Leadership and the creator of the Customized Executive Education program at Booth, as well as the co-founder of the nonprofit Kids in Danger.

Event Description

Our second MasterClass featured Wanda Echavarria who has held numerous corporate executive positions. Currently, she’s Principal of Administration & Employee Development at Global Infrastructure Partners, the world’s largest infrastructure private equity fund. Wanda is incredibly accomplished, with years of experience interviewing and working with applicants, as well as invaluable insight on how to best prepare for interviews. During the event, Wanda discussed how to prepare for an interview, best build your story from your resume, and describe it in an interview setting.
