 Letter from the MORs

Hello!

Our names are Jota Iwase and Lucius Gao and we will be your Masters of Rituals (MORs) . We are elated that you’re here. We are excited to announce that Alpha Kappa Psi is kicking off Spring Recruitment and we hope that you’re as excited to participate as we are to meet all of you! We’ve all been through a lot since COVID began, but now, as it begins to subside, a tumultuous chapter of our lives will come to an end. We’re sure, however, that the next one holds brighter prospects. We want AKPsi to be a part of your next chapter. Come participate in Recruitment Week (03/28 - 04/01) and attend as many events to meet as many members as you can! We promise that you won’t be disappointed. We hope you step out of your comfort zone, try something new, and learn some new things.

We know that Recruitment Week can be a bit overwhelming, so we’ve compiled multiple resources on this page to help you navigate through the hectic week. Below, you will find the Recruitment Week Itinerary, Current Member Directory, Recruitment Buddy Signup Form, and much, much more! Please peruse this page as much as you’d like, as it’s meant to help you.

Your MORs,

Lucius Gao & Jota Iwase

ACCOMMODATIONS

AKPsi seeks to create and promote an inclusive and welcoming environment. We encourage applicants who self-identify as an individual with a disability to reach out to Jota and Lucius, our Co-Heads of Recruitment, about the application process and accommodations you may need. We would be more than happy to work with you!

MEMBER REPORTING

If you had a bad experience with a member — they made you feel uncomfortable or acted inappropriately — at any time throughout Recruitment, please fill out the Member Reporting Form. The only members who will see the responses will be Luis Pimentel (VP of Diversity & Inclusion), Jota Iwase, and Lucius Gao. Should the member in question be one of those three individuals, we have an alternative form that will only be seen by Yi Liu (President) and Oceane Wang (VP of Finance). Should you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Jota Iwase or Lucius Gao at akpsibetaepsilon@gmail.com
